Winter has certainly fallen upon Lehigh Valley. Too bad I can barely stand to be out in the cold for the time it takes me to get the mail, let alone spend hours in it skiing like I used to. But I know I’m not alone, so for those of you who are looking for things to do this time of year without having to dress up like an eskimo, here are my top ten favorite indoor things to do in the Valley:

1. Go-kart racing at Lehigh Valley Grand Prix in Allentown. (Learn about my first-ever go-karting experience.)

2. Read a good book or two or twelve after visiting Now and Then Books in Allentown. (Read why I like this used book store so much.)

3. Indoor rock climbing at North Summit Climbing Gym in Wind Gap. (Check out my last experience there.)

4. Get creative at the Banana Factory in Bethlehem. (Read about the “Make Your Own Glass” class I went to.)

5. Get pampered at Always Pretty Salon & Spain Coopersburg. (Here’s my review of this relaxing experience.)

6. Go to jail in Jim Thorpe. (Check out some of the cool stories I heard while visiting the Old Jail Museum.)

7. Listen to live music at the Sands Casino in Bethlehem. (Learn about the first time I went to Sands.)

8. Visit Martin Guitar in Nazareth. (Read about my experience on the factory tour.)

9. Catch a movie. (Check out my review of Rave in Center Valley.)

10. Shoot pool. (Here are my favorite places to play pool in the Valley.)

What do you like to do in the Valley when it’s cold out?
