Where to bowl in Lehigh Valley

My husband is a big Pittsburgh Steelers fan, so thanks to the internet I found a cool Steelers bowling ball to get him. Excited to try out the new ball, we targeted Wednesday night as our bowling night.
I called two bowling alleys in Lehigh Valley (Playdrome Rose Bowl and Parkway Lanes), but they had leagues during the week in the evening, which meant it wouldn’t be easy to get a lane Wednesday night. Needless to say, we were bummed.
We were going to give up and settle for a weekend excursion to one of the bowling alleys when I remembered that PigPen Sports Bar has bowling lanes (which makes sense since the building that PigPen is in actually used to be a bowling alley). I quickly called and found out they had open bowling, so off we went.
What a great, fun place! PigPen only has a handful of bowling lanes, but they have huge 24-foot jumbo screen TV behind them so you can watch your favorite sports teams while you bowl. I also noticed they have a huge arcade section complete with a two-story jungle gym for the kiddies (although I did see some adults there too). Overall, the restaurant and bar at PigPen seemed to have some cool vibes.
I know we will be going back to PigPen soon. Maybe we will target every Wednesday night as our special bowling night.
