Lehigh Valley Baby Momma

I made it to my first Mother’s Day! Honestly, it was questionable whether I was gonna to, especially during the late night feedings and not knowing that teething and screaming can go on for 4 hours straight. But the joys outweigh the bad and now I get to enjoy a day that is all about me (in and around Lehigh Valley, of course)!
When I was growing up, for Mother’s Day my mom usually got breakfast in bed, flowers, and then got to do whatever she wanted. This year instead of the normal Mother’s Day brunch with my in-laws, my mom and I are headed to the Home Town Diner in Breinigsville – even former president George W. has been to Home Town Diner, it’s that good. After lunch, we’ll be off to Coca-Cola Park in Allentown for a Lehigh Valley IronPigs game against the Columbus Clippers – the first 2,000 women get a pink visor in honor of Mother’s Day. We’ll finish off the day by collecting our Vera Bradley cosmetic cases and, hopefully, striking it rich at the Sands Casino in Bethlehem!
Some moms want to do the spa thing or the shopping thing. I want food, baseball and money. And for my little cherub to spend some quality time with Daddy.
What are your plans for Mother’s Day?
