Sometimes you just need a second to close your eyes and imagine you’re some place beautiful. But don’t keep them closed long enough to miss the views in Lehigh Valley. Not only are they worth it for some peace and serenity, but with the way our phones take pictures, not snapping a photo would be a missed opportunity. Across Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton, there are dozens of places to bring your family and friends for frame-worthy photos year-round.

Make a stop at any one of the spots below part of your Lehigh Valley plans.

📍 Lehigh Lookout, Bethlehem

Lower Sayre Park Road, Bethlehem, PA
On a clear day, you can see for miles from the Lehigh Lookout. A section of trees are cleared and an area for standing and admiring the landscape is carved out for onlookers to snap a few photos or take a couple of deep breaths. This spot is located just off of Lehigh University's campus and a short drive down the mountain brings you to places like Yianni's Taverna and Seven Siren's Brewing Company. Here are some directions to the best views.

📍 Bank Street, Easton

Bank Street, Easton, PA 18042
Bank Street in downtown Easton dazzles, especially after a rain shower. Wet cobblestone twinkles under the lights as you stroll along, window shopping or simply getting some exercise. We suggest a fresh scoop with that photo from Bank Street Creamery. YUM!

📍 Historic Main Street, Bethlehem

Main Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018
The city of Bethlehem is a charmer, as well as historic. Main Street in downtown Bethlehem (North Side) is where you can grab tacos at Urbano or pick up a new book at The Moravian Book Shop while the occasional horse-drawn carriage clicks down the road. All are great spots to snap a pic! Christmas time can't be missed for prime photo-ops.

📍 Lock Ridge Park, Alburtis

588 Thomas Street, Alburtis, PA 18011
This park comes alive in spring, offering gorgeous bluebells that create a scene from a dream. The meadow is perfect for a picnic and a great spot for family photos. Make it an educational experience with a visit to the Lock Ridge Furnace Museum.

📍 The Rose Garden, Allentown

2800 Parkway Blvd., Allentown, PA 18104
Arguably one of the best spots for photos is The Malcolm Gross Rose Garden in Allentown. In late spring, this park comes alive and provides a picturesque backdrop for any occasion. Many come here to meditate, strum a guitar, or go for a walk.

📍 Trexler Nature Preserve, Schnecksville

5150 Game Preserve Rd., Schnecksville, PA 18078
The overlook at Trexler Nature Preserve is a sunset-lovers dream. You've never seen a gorgeous golden hour landscape like this. When you're done taking pictures, take advantage of The Lehigh Valley Zoo, located on the same property.

📍 Scott Park, Easton Waterfront

130 Larry Holmes Dr, Easton, PA 18042
Watch the boats launch from Easton's Scott Park, where the Delaware and Lehigh Rivers meet. It's a great spot to sit and enjoy watching the water move or snapping a pic!
