Just because the warmer weather has left us for now doesn’t mean that you need to take your activity down a notch! We’ve compiled a list of places that offer great indoor facilities if the kids (or big kids…) get the itch to go out and run around! From baseball, to paintball, to rock climbing, there’s something for every taste.
Apple Blossom Village offers indoor fun including a huge playplace, miniature carousel & ferris wheel, and trampoline basketball. They’ve recently added an Indoor Paintball Target Range, where you can sharpen up your skills without having to be out in the cold.
If baseball is your forte, swing on over to Hitter’s Edge in Whitehall. This indoor batting cage offers pitching machines of different speeds so that everyone can have some fun! They have a selection of bats and helmets you can use while you’re there in case you don’t have your own. Get ready for the spring season even when it’s snowy out!
Want to get a group together for some fun? Check out Lehigh Valley Laser Tag. Their multi-level arena provides for a great time for all ages and features all sorts of glowing arches and pathways. Get a team together and see who proves victorious! Be sure to make a reservation so that you don’t miss out on the fun.
If you’re shaping up to be the next Serena Williams or Andy Roddick, make your way to Winning Touch Tennis in Allentown. With both indoor and outdoor courts, you can perfect your swing all year round. They offer both private and group lessons if you’re just looking to get started.
The kids will love the chance to play at BounceU. With three great locations in Lehigh Valley (Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton), there’s always something nearby! All three locations feature tons of fun, inflatable structures where kids can bounce, climb and slide to their heart’s content!
Of course, if you do like the chillier temperatures and are still looking to stay active, check out Steel Ice Center in Bethlehem. They are the premiere ice skating facility in Lehigh Valley, and offer classes where you can learn to skate or learn to play ice hockey. They also host open skates for those who have some experience, or are just looking to go out for fun!
So while we get ready for winter, keep these spots in mind when you start to get a little cabin fever!
What are your favorite places to stay active during the chilly months?
