The Best in Lehigh Valley Holiday Light Displays

With the holiday season just around the corner, now is the prime time to get out and see some of the spectacular displays throughout Lehigh Valley.
New this year, be sure to make your way to the Lehigh Valley Zoo for their Winter Lights Spectacular. With paid admission, visitors will be able to stroll at their leisure through a winter wonderland of tree-lined paths lit by thousands of twinkling lights and animated displays. While on your walk, you’ll enjoy holiday music, family-friendly activities, hot cocoa, and other festive food and beverages.
The event runs Wednesdays through Sundays until January 10. Winter Lights Spectacular is open from 5:30 – 10 p.m. Find more details on the Lehigh Valley Zoo’s website.
Pack the family in the car and head to the Lehigh Parkway in Allentown for the annual Lights in the Parkway display. Admission is based per vehicle; you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better deal around the holiday season. Allow at least 25 minutes to fully enjoy your drive through the scenic parkway, taking time to admire the many different light displays along the way. After you experience the animated light displays and lighted tunnels, be sure to stop by the Gift Barn as you exit your tour. You might even run into jolly old St. Nick! Before you’ve had your fill of holiday twinkles, be sure to make a visit out to Koziar’s Christmas Village. With a half-million lights adorning buildings, gift barns, and more, it really is a special treat. On your visit, you’ll have the chance to take in various indoor & outdoor displays, browse a variety of themed shops, enjoy an indoor holiday train display, and more.
