Sometimes it’s necessary to escape the stress of adulthood. Usually, my answer is a good workout or a happy hour cocktail. But, what better way to de-stress than by attending a live comedy show? Luckily, Lehigh Valley is home to quite a few. So, next time you’re in the mood for a good laugh, here are a few options.

Fridays and Saturdays call for a trip to Wise Crackers Comedy Club. Located inside the Ramada in Whitehall, this is a convenient location for visitors and locals. Whether you’re on a date or a girls’ / boys’ night out, this comedy club is the perfect setting for a night of laughter. Before or after, grab a bite to eat at Shooters Sports Bar & Grill right on site. Check out Ramada’s overnight packages that include two comedy show tickets, two free drink tickets, and continental breakfast.

Discover Lehigh Valley recently celebrated its 31st Annual Meeting with the help of our keynote speaker Meridith Elliott Powell, and more than 140 of our partners. We thank Meridith for a very informative and captivating keynote presentation and here is a recap of the event through her eyes. Enjoy!

One of the best parts of being a business motivational speaker is meeting new people, hearing their stories, and learning their strategies for how to succeed in business today. While I work with clients from all over the country, and hear some amazing stories, I will have to say that last week was one of my favorites. First, I was lucky enough to be in one of the most beautiful places in the country, Lehigh Valley, PA, and second my client and their partners have done an amazing job of working together to make positive change happen.

Cheers to the inaugural Cider and Wine Festival!

The Lehigh Valley Cider and Wine Festival was a perfect Saturday afternoon. The Lehigh Valley IronPigs nailed the inaugural, sold-out event right on the field of Coca-Cola Park. The festival featured hard cider and wine tastings from the Lehigh Valley Wine Trail and local and regional cideries.

Cider is my favorite drink of choice and wine comes in at a close second so you could say I was living the dream (at least in my eyes). From the moment my friends and I made our entrance, we knew we were in for a treat.
