What’s Happening: May 20 – 22

  • SOTA Show House: (every day, through May 22) Join the Society of the Arts for its 15th show house in a beautifully restored family home built in 1903 on Allentown’s original ‘Mansion Row.’ Each room of the house has been artfully restored by local interior designers.   • Spring Wine & Cheese Weekend: (Saturday, May 21 & Sunday, May 22) Explore the nine wineries of the Lehigh Valley Wine Trail during this annual event. Each winery will be offering special cheese pairings to compliment a variety of wines. Cheese pairings are complimentary, but some wineries may charge a wine tasting fee. Be sure to consult each individual winery for specific details. Learn more.
  • Saturday Music in the Park: (Saturday, May 21) Explore downtown Allentown’s ArtsPark, home to charming shops and delicious restaurants. Each Saturday, City Center Lehigh Valley hosts free concerts from 1 – 2:30 p.m. This week, enjoy an acoustic performance from local favorite, Tim Harakal. Learn more.
  • Discover Lehigh Valley - Dutch Springs 04Dutch Springs Open House: (Sunday, May 22) The Aqua Park doesn’t open until Memorial Day Weekend, but get a sneak preview of all the fun in store at this weekend’s open house! Tour the 100 acres of the Dutch Springs grounds, plus enjoy music, snacks, and games. Learn more.
  • Easton Matters Walking Tour: (Sunday, May 22) Join the Nurture Nature Center for a walking tour of Easton’s West Ward. Meet at Paxinosa Elementary School at 1 p.m. to explore the neighborhood and discuss local environmental priorities. Learn more.
