What’s Happening: June 10 – 12

  • Live at Riverside: (Friday, June 10) Head out to Easton’s Riverside Park for a free concert on the second Friday of each month. This week, enjoy a performances from the James Supra Band with Sarah Ayers – one of the most popular local acts. Food and beverages will be available for purchase on site; the show begins at 7:30 p.m. Learn more.
  • Blues, Brews, and BBQ 2014 June 14, 2014-4-IMG_6016Blues, Brews, and Barbeques: (Saturday, June 11) Get your appetites ready! This annual event returns to downtown Allentown and promises to pack even more fun. This street festival includes four stages featuring live music, three beer tents, and plenty of good eats. Be sure to browse the many craft vendors that will be showcasing works during the event as well. Learn more.
  • Food Truck Border Brawl: (Saturday, June 11) Head over to SteelStacks for a day that’s sure to be jam-packed with fun! On PNC Plaza, find the Food Truck Border Brawl. Sample treats from a number of trucks in the battle to see which state – PA or NJ – offers the best cuisine. You can also catch the final installment of Lehigh Valley SoccerFest as the USA takes on Paraguay at 7 p.m. Learn more.
  • PA_Shakespeare_Little-Mermaid-C copyThe Little Mermaid: (through August 6) The Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival opens its season with a show that young theater fans (and the young at heart) will adore. Follow the adventures of the Little Mermaid as you are whisked under the sea for plenty of laughs along the way! Kids will love the modern twists on the story, plus the chance to interact with the actors during and after the performance. Learn more.
