What’s Happening: September 9 – 11

  • Chile Pepper Festival: (Friday, September 9 & Saturday, September 10) Make your way to Bowers to test your taste buds! This event celebrates all things spicy. Stock up with a wide variety of hot sauces, sample some fiery foods, or even participate in a jalapeño eating contest. Learn more.
  • Lehigh Valley Wine Trail Harvest Weekend: (Saturday, September 10 & Sunday, September 11) Explore the nine wineries of the Lehigh Valley Wine Trail as they celebrate the harvest season.   • Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites Apple Days: (Saturday, September 10 & Sunday, September 11) Ring in autumn with the season’s favorite fruit. The third annual Apple Days, held at Burnside Plantation, features live music, children’s activities, and plenty of tasty treats. Be sure to pick up a pie or a box of donuts to enjoy at home!   • Conversations on the Canal: (Saturday, September 10) Head to Hugh Moore Park for a dinner cruise on the Josiah White II canal boat. This cruise features delicious bites to eat, along with mead pairings from the Colony Meadery. Plus, enjoy live music from Jay Smar as your cruise the canal. Learn more.
  • Nazareth Walking Tour: (Saturday, September 10) Bring your pup along for this guided walking tour of historic Nazareth. Your guide will take you on a hour and a half walking tour as you experience the history of the town’s oldest structures and their founders-the Moravians.
