We all have our favorites for best food stand at Musikfest or best band at Volksplatz or best Sands Steel Stage performance. Every early August, we’re treated to these seemingly age-old rivalries again and again.

This year, however, is different. Introducing Musikfest Madness! The concept is simple, we’re running a 32-entry bracket-style tournament with four “regions” and we’ll have YOU vote until only one Musikfest icon from this upcoming year is left standing.

Bethlehem has World Cup Fever

First off, what an experience! Having spent a good portion of the last two weeks in attendance at the 2014 FIFA World Cup Soccerfest & Viewing Party, I can say that when ESPN showed live look-ins, during the USA vs. Ghana game, from Bethlehem, Pa. along with Chicago and New York, we belonged.

In fact, had they been there Sunday night, during the USA draw with Portugal, they would have seen an even bigger and louder crowd!

Good times were had just over a week ago at the Musikfest Café presented by Yuengling  in Bethlehem. Before Al Stewart and Firefall even took the stage, our party of three was treated to some amazing food including the parmesan garlic fries suggested by our very knowledgeable server Rich, who also recommended Woo Woo’s off the drink specials. A show with some adult beverages surely couldn’t disappoint, and neither the food nor the drinks or the show would.
