Let the Lunacy Begin

It’s time for the Second Annual Lehigh Valley Lunacy Tournament. Last year’s Lunacy was full of lower seed domination, ten first round upsets really shook up the brackets. This year new places join the Lunacy to see who can defeat the top seeds.

As was the case last year, winners will be chosen by public vote.

The Fun Continues with the Second Annual Lehigh Valley Beer Week

We may be rounding out the second annual Lehigh Valley Beer Week, but that doesn’t mean that the fun slows down!

Hopefully, you’ve made it out to a couple events this week- there have been some great offerings! The official ribbon cutting took place this past Sunday at the Allentown Brew Works. Attendees were invited to sample the new LVBW2, a beer created by homebrewer John Boncik that was selected as the official beer of Beer Week at a homebrewing competition last fall.

Leaf Restaurant & Cigar Bar in Easton Combines Gourmet Food with World Class Cigars

Leaf isn't all about cigars

I’ve been trying for some time to persuade Don, my cigar smoking husband, to go to Leaf Restaurant & Cigar Bar in Easton. His Cigar Bar of choice has always been The Wooden Match in Bethlehem, which is great, but man does not live by one watering hole alone.

Some reasons he has given include, but are not limited to: “It is too far away.” Um, no…per Google Maps, The Wooden Match is 14.6 miles from our house. Leaf a mere 13.2.

All this cold and snow lately can lead to quite a bit of cabin fever. This past weekend, a few friends and I decided to shake off the chills and head for a girls’ night out in Bethlehem.

We were lucky enough to catch the tail end of Bethlehem Restaurant Week, and wanted to try out a place that none of us had been to yet. I suggested The Broadway Social, and we all decided that that would be the perfect place for a great dinner.
