Second Round

The First Round is complete, the votes have been tallied and it is time to both announce and start the 2014 Lehigh Valley Lunacy Second Round.

Being a high seed is better this year than last. All #1, #2 and #3 seeds made it out of the First Round. In fact, compared to last year’s 12 First Round upsets, this year’s 8 is mild.

It’s time for the Second Annual Lehigh Valley Lunacy Tournament. Last year’s Lunacy was full of lower seed domination, ten first round upsets really shook up the brackets. This year new places join the Lunacy to see who can defeat the top seeds.

As was the case last year, winners will be chosen by public vote.

A Lehigh Valley Christmas House Tour in Bath, Pa

Governor Wolf Historical Society House Tour

Lehigh Valley hosts many historic house tours and if I could, I’d go to every one of them. I love going through old homes whether they are vacant and up for sale, or all dolled up for the holidays which was the case this past weekend as the Governor Wolf Historical Society held its Thirty-third Annual Christmas House Tour in Bath, Pa.

Our friend’s house was included this year so they asked us to be volunteers on Saturday. The historical society held a private candlelight tour the night before for all the homeowners and volunteers so we didn’t miss out on the fun. It was pouring rain Friday night so I was really glad they had a small school bus available to whisk us from house to house.
