Rope tow

Lehigh Valley is covered in snow, which reminds me of the first time I tried skiing. I was in 7th grade when I signed up to go on a ski trip with my church youth group to Bear Creek Mountain Resort (although back then it was called Doe Mountain). As we pulled up to the base of the mountain, which was brightly lit in the night sky, I was in awe  – although now, with all the terrain parks, halfpipe and massive slope-side resort, it’s even more impressive!

My favorite place for a massage in Lehigh Valley has been TC Salon & Spa in Bethlehem. I’ve had massages, pedicures and facials there. I love the feeling of drifting away while a trained professional manipulates my overly tight muscles. Since I tend to hold stress in my neck and shoulders, it hurts so good when the therapist starts applying pressure to those areas.

This is the second in a series of three posts in which I detail my 2009 New Year’s resolutions, which revolve around experiencing more in Lehigh Valley. Click here to view the first post in the series.

I can’t cook a decent meal if my life depended on it, so my boyfriend and I go out to eat at least once a week. So my second New Year’s resolution is to go to five Lehigh Valley restaurants that I’ve never been to before in 2009.
